Anna Hottes

	Anna Hottes, age 97, of Nashville, formerly of Pinckneyville, died Sunday, October 27, 2002 in the Friendship Manor Nursing Home, Nashville.
	Anna was born in Belleville on September 2, 1905, a daughter of Jacob and Margaret (Ruckriegel) Weil.  She accepted Christ as her Savior and was baptized at the age of 56.  Anna enjoyed being a member of the Faithful Worker's Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church, Nashville.  She had worked as a clerk and housekeeper at the Hotel Belleville, Belleville, Ill.
	Survivors include a son, Harvey Hottes and his wife, Nancy, all of Ava and a daughter,  Leah Queen and her husband, Earl, of Nashville.  Anna was affectionately known as 'Cookie Grandma' to six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.  Her parents, two sisters and five brothers preceded her in death.
	Funeral services were held on Tuesday, October 29 at 3 p.m. in the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home in Pinckneyville with Bro. Bill Carter officiating.  Interment was in the Creek Paum Cemetery in rural Vergennes.
	Friends called at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 29 from 1 to 3 p.m.
	Memorials may be made to the Building Fund of the First Baptist Church in Nashville or the donor's choice.
